MIMME

In Normandy, industrial reliability and innovation are driven by a major project: MIMME.

With the support of Normandy Region and European Union
This project is co-financed by the Normandy Region and the FEDER.
Thank them for their trust and their support.
MIMME : an industrial R&D project
Analyses et Surface, CEVAA, GPM, Areelis and 6NAPSE have joined forces to create MIMME, a relevant testing offer for the aeronautics, automotive, medical, packaging, materials, etc. sectors.
The project objectives:
- Develop suitable methodologies and test benches
- Create a one-stop shop for managing an extended validation chain
- Better understand reliability issues through a mixed experimentation/testing approach
MIMME contributes to strengthening Normandy’s appeal for the development of an aeronautics hub and to providing it with a strong national positioning with differentiating resources compared to the Paris or Toulouse region.
Innovative Methodologies and Experimental Multiphysical Means for Industrial R&D
The synergy of the structures behind the MIMME project offers an extended value chain to manufacturers for the development and validation of their projects. Industrial R&D involves a correlation of increasingly comprehensive digital models. These also require complex custom tests to implement.
MIMME thus offers manufacturers a broad work package with numerous multi-physical tests:
- Low-frequency vibration and fatigue: high-displacement cylinders, fatigue, cycling
- Clean-environment vibration: qualification of aerospace equipment
- Thermal and fluid: extreme thermal shocks, temperature pressure drop, fire tests, electronics, aging benches, reliability assessment
- Customized tests: meeting non-standard testing needs requiring a multi-physical approach
- Packaging: qualification of packaging equipment for transport and use
Work to simplify methodologies and tests is also essential to make validation accessible to as many people as possible on the market.
